Thank you so much for your generous contribution to the Berkshire Humane Society.  I am pleased to inform you that your donations were applied to the Ken Freeberg Special Needs Fund- Spay/Neuter program.  This is a fund that we use almost on a monthly basis for surrendered pets that need special care. 

Again on behalf of our homeless animals thank you for thinking of Berkshire Humane Society and our pets in need.  It seems that people like you really understand how hard everyone at BHS really tries to help each and every pet with their specific needs.  We greatly appreciate your friendship and support!

I ignored your ethical advice as a friend and professional. Despite knowing your integrity and pursuit for a harmonious real estate transaction. In your pursuit at facilitating an equitable process- you advised to always get a camera to view pipes from house to city drains. When you despairingly ask, “will we or even can we ever live in harmony with all of creation”- I retort you tirelessly and full heartedly advised me to take extra precautions in risks that may lay underground. Friend, I purchased a home recently in Connecticut in the winter with several inches of snowfall on the ground. I did not pursue the underground camera for possible risk. We had a trustworthy agent, a competent lawyer, and total rebuild of a home. We thought no need to listen to the learned experience of Paul Harsch who advised take the extra step. By ignoring your advice, we missed a hidden unreported septic tank. We missed that our sewage did not connect to city but to this old deteriorating septic system. We suffered harm because we ignored a trustworthy professional person who advised based on learned experience- to go the extra mile.
