Lenox Property for Sale: Berkshires

Lenox Living in the Berkshires

Lenox Massachusetts exists today because of a spelling error during incorporation of the town. A town named  Lennox was to have been a tribute to  Charles Lennox, 3rd Duke of Richmond and Lennox .

Duke Lennox would be the first to tell you that Lenox MA is a town worthy of royalty.  You will love living in Lenox.  This Berkshire County town is home year round to approximately 5,000 people.  Culture is the name of the game in Lenox.  As it should be with more things to do, history to see, places to eat and shops to browse than you can imagine.

We are especially fond of Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston Symphony). Visitors to Tanglewood enjoy each season we welcome and enjoy the fabulous music of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the endless appeal of James Taylor, the artistry of YoY o Ma, the masterful conductors like John Williams and Seiji Ozawa, the pure fun of A Prairie Home Companion and of course the peaceful and beautiful grounds themselves and the chance to relax and soak in the highest quality musical entertainment all in the glorious Berkshires.

Then it is just a hop and skip to the Lenox Railroad Station for a ride through the scenic Berkshires.  If you are classically inclined jump on over to Shakespeare and Company for a night with the bard.

You are in good company in Lenox.  The Astor family, the Carnegie family and the Vanderbilt family all called Lenox a summer home as some point.  In fact why not take a tour that will bring you up close and personal?   You can see all the fineries of the late 19th century at The Museum of the Gilded Age at Ventfort Hall in Lenox.

We would be happy to show you homes in Lenox MA.  You will find a huge selection of Lenox homes right here at Harsch Associates Berkshire Real Estate
